As a chief officer perform and supervise as required, all deck related operations including the loading, stowage, securing and discharge of cargo items in accordance with all safe working practices and with regard to the Master’s and Company’s instructions and orders. Prepare, control, operate, calculate ballast condition related to the different circumstances one of the most important and strategy system operation due to the specific loading/discharging features. Have an a good, working practice in an accounting and consider draft operations and calculations. Have an a practice in cargo operations such as: coal, grain, coils, metal products, different kind of equipments of gas and oil industry ( containers, generators, cars, motion-wheelers, heavy-lifted and oversizes constructions from USA to the west coast of Africa, Europe, Mediterranean regions and etc. Due to the safety officer’s responsibilities ensure that Company HSE policies and procedures are rigorously maintained with all deck related activities using all Safety Tools necessary. Carry out in the constantly / obligatory order ToolBox Talking, execution of Risk assessment, Certificates, Permits, Rescue Plans, Enclosed space entry Certificates and etc. Try to discuss about all details for the estimated / expected working activities. As a rule carry out weekly HSE Committee meeting. In additional keep under control Planned Maintenance System NSE, create Work orders, check the performance and results, completed and closed. If it’s necessary create the additional purchase requisition. Due to the Drills, training / exercises schedule planning and carry out at least 3 – 4 drill / training per week, like Fire Drill and till Ballast Management Plan training or ELC familiarization exercise. Familiarize every new coming person with all sections and parts of the company (QSMS) and all company policies, procedures and instructions due to the Company’s requirements it’s means 3rd party induction for the shore personnel and Familiarization instruction for crewmembers which can continue till 2 weeks depends on personnel job activity. Keep under control and carry out regularly, weekly round Health and Hygiene inspection. As a security officer carry out familiarization, routine ISPS exercises, keep under control watchkeeping, ship’s access points and any crewmembers movement during routine practice. Check and make round inspection of cargo for intended voyage. And of course watchkeeping during routine sea passages, RIWS through the rivers, inner lakes, and during anchoring. Ensure safely passing through the locks about 18 pcs in one direction and opposite. Ensure safely passing under the bridges, barrier gates, narrow channels and etc. Possess experience in berthing, mooring, well manouvering in the narrows on ASD. About 3 years as Chief mate on Azimuth Stern Drive. Good understanding, speaking and writing skills/ experience of English language. Able to use Microsoft applications. I’ll consider any options.
